Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was the captain and member in the 2012 fierce Five team as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. Aly Raisman was awarded three gold medals in the 2012 Olympics which took place in London. She also brought home a bronze medal for the balance beam. She was the only American to earn many Olympic medals. At the 2016, Olympics she was awarded a gold medal in the team event which earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being the first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals for the team. She also won two silver medals for her floor exercise and the all-around individual. After the 2 Olympics she took her time from competing during three consecutive years. The gold medal she won for the American team also took part in the two World Championships. When she was just 2 when she started to study gymnastics. Her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly supports an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization in memory of her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She hopes to build the opportunity to have a career that is successful in fashion. The leotards she wears as a signature as well as socks, and other clothing will be expanded on in the future. She's currently writing a novel named Fierce to be published during the course of the year.
